Jalsa (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)

Helmed by Suresh Triveni, the film is an investigative thriller whose plotline revolves around a hit and run case where the victim is an 18-year-old girl. The goings-on are narrated from the point of view of an outstanding journalist (played by Vidya Balan) and a distressed mother (Shefali Shah) as they navigate through the legal and moral rigmarole to bring the culprit to justice.

Salute (Streaming on SonyLIV)

Helmed by Rosshan Andrrews, the film features Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role of a committed police sub-inspector named Aravind Karunakaran, who gets involved in the investigation of the killing of a middle-aged couple. After realizing that an innocent person has wrongly been accused of the crime, he makes it his mission to nab the real culprit. Bollywood actress Diana Penty stars opposite Dulquer Salmaan in the film.

The French Dispatch (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

The film is helmed by ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ director Wes Anderson. It revolves around several plotlines based on stories published in the French Dispatch magazine. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Frances McDormand, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Bill Murray, Christopher Waltz, Adrien Brody, Liev Schreiber, Benicio Del Toro, Owen Wilson, and Elizabeth Moss.

Bloody Brothers (Streaming on Zee5)

Helmed by Shaad Ali (Saathiya, Bunty Aur Babli), the show is an adaptation of the mystery thriller Scottish series ‘Guilt’. The plot revolves around the titular protagonists – two disparate brothers named Jaggi (Jaideep Ahlawat) and Daljit (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub). On a fateful night, they accidentally run over an old man. They manage to hide the crime, but their lives become hellish when people begin to suspect.

Apharan Season 2 (Streaming on Voot, Alt Balaji)

‘Main Tera Her’ actor Arunoday Singh reprises his role as a senior cop Rudra Srivastava who goes on a deadly mission to Thailand in order to kidnap a criminal mastermind called BBS while dealing with his own personal problems.

Cheaper by the Dozen (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

Based on the 1948 novel of the same name, the family comedy movie follows the relentless efforts of a middle-aged couple who live with twelve children from their earlier marriages. Things get trickier for them as they try to manage a family business alongside their parental pursuits.

Black Crab (Streaming on Netflix)

Set against the backdrop of a war-torn post-apocalyptic world, this Swedish military action thriller features Noomi Rapace in the lead role. The plotline revolves around a group of soldiers who are on a dangerous mission to transport a vital package over a frozen sea that could end the war.

Pondicherry (Streaming on Planet Marathi OTT)

It’s a Marathi language relationship drama that features Sai Tamhankar as Nikita, a woman who runs a homestay in the titular city Pondicherry. She lives with her eight-year-old son Ishan. The going-on take an interesting turn when a mysterious traveler arrives at their place.

Top Boy Season 2 (Streaming on Netflix)

Created by Ronan Bennett, the crime drama series revolves around two London-based experienced drug dealers Dushane and Sully, and the former’s pursuit to become the area’s top boy.

Lalitham Sundaram (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

It’s a Malayalam comedy-drama movie helmed by Madhu Warrier in his directorial debut. The family drama film features Manju Warrier, Biju Menon, Deepti Sati, Anu Mohan and revolves around the stories of a younger couple and an older couple and their struggles and relationships.

Deep Water (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)

Helmed by Adrian Lyne, the erotic psychological thriller centers around an out-of-love married couple (Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas) where the affluent husband permits the wife to have extra-marital affairs in order to save their marriage. But soon the dangerous game takes a deadlier turn when the husband becomes the prime suspect for the disappearance of his wife’s lovers.

Young, Famous & African (Streaming on Netflix)

The reality show revolves around a group of young, rich, and A-list media personalities from South Africa, Nigeria, and East Africa. They come together in South Africa’s largest city Johannesburg in their mission to search for love and revive their relationships.

Is It Cake? (Streaming on Netflix)

The competition reality show would have nine highly skilled bakers who would participate in a brain wrecking baking contest where they would create tempting cakes that look like ultra-realistic replicas of daily objects like bowling bowls, shoes, toys, handbags, sewing machines, burgers, etc.

Life & Beth (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

The ten-part comedy-drama series stars Amy Schumer as the titular protagonist Beth, whose unpleasant teenage memories start to come back after an unexpected incident happens in her life. The sudden retrospection drives her life in a new direction.
