Caught Out: Crime. Corruption. Cricket (Streaming on Netflix)
Directed by Supriya Sobti Gupta, the documentary focuses on the investigation which unearthed the infamous match fixing scandal in the otherwise unscripted game of cricket.
Extrapolations (Streaming on Apple TV+)
The climate change-based anthology series has eight interconnected episodes and revolves around how changes to the planet affect love, family, and work on a personal and a broader human level. The ensemble cast includes Meryl Streep, Kit Harrington, Edward Norton, Tobey Maguire, David Schwimmer, Forest Whitaker, and Adarsh Gourav, amongst others.
Pop Kaun (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)
Created by Farhad Samji, the comedy series features Kunal Kemmu whose character learns that he is not the real son of his politician father (Johnny Lever). The incident leads to an amusing turn of events where he must find out who his real father is. It also features Satish Kaushik, Saurabh Shukla, Nupur Sanon, and Chunky Pandey.
Agent Elvis (Streaming on Netflix)
The animated series follows a version of the legendary rockstar Elvis Presley (voiced by Matthew McConaughey), who joins the government in a secret spy program where he must fight some bad people who pose a threat to the country.
Gandhada Gudi (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The docudrama movie features Late actor Puneeth Rajkumar as himself as he explores some stunning places and hidden destinations across the length and breadth of the State of Karnataka with wildlife filmmaker Amoghavarsha.
Knock at the Cabin (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video – Rent)
Helmed by Manoj Night Shyamalan, the psychological horror flick revolves around how a family vacationing in a far-off cabin are held hostage by a group of armed intruders and are forced to make an extremely difficult choice.
Am I Next (Streaming on Zee5)
Helmed by Rahat Kazmi, the film’s story follows a 14-year-old teenage girl Honey (played by Anushka Sen), who is raped, gets pregnant, and how she fights a long legal battle for terminating her pregnancy.
Saathi Gaani Rendu Ekaralu (Streaming on Aha Video)
Directed by Abhinav Danda, the dark comedy movie features Jagadeesh Bandari (of Pushpa fame) in the lead role who decides to sell his land and gets involved in a murder case.
Seven (Streaming on Zee5)
The seven-part Bengali mystery thriller web series revolves around a group of five friends who encounter an accident on their road trip to a hilly town. That’s when they find a bag full of cash, and a gun.
Writer Padmabhushan (Streaming on Zee5)
The comedy drama movie features Suhas in the titular role of Padmabhushan, a budding writer who belongs to a middle-class background in Vijayawada. Suhas wants his book to be read and the story takes an interesting turn when a woman named Sarika (Tina Shilparaj) loves his work and even wants to marry him.
The Magician’s Elephant (Streaming on Netflix)
The animated adventure movie follows the story of Peter, an orphan boy who begins his quest for an elephant in order to find his long-lost sister. And along the way, he must complete some really difficult tasks.
In His Shadow (Streaming on Netflix)
The French crime thriller movie focuses on the stories of two half-brothers, who find themselves on the opposite sides of a conflict, leading to devastating consequences.
Dom Season-2 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The show’s story is about the relationship between Victor, a father, who is a cop on a mission to fight against drugs, and his son Pedro, who is a drug addict himself and is on the other side of the drug-centric war.
