As August comes to a close, more and more reports continue to pile on the “Minnal Murrali to Netflix rage”. If you guys doesn’t know already, ‘Minnal Murali’ is an upcoming superhero film from the Malayalam film industry. Once released, this movie will also make it the first Malayalam mainstream superhero to date. As per latest reports, Netflix is planning on releasing this movie directly for streaming on their platform by the second week of September.
A few days ago, we noticed heavier than normal Netflix confirmation reports regarding ‘Minnal Murali’, coming out from various camps. According tot these reports, the producers of ‘Minnal Murali’ have completed cancelled plans for a theatrical release and are getting ready for a Netflix premiere. Also, the film is currently undergoing post-production for Netflix, to get the movie dubbed in 4 regional languages as well.
Again, there have been no official confirmation yet. But the film production has been through hell and back multiple times (and not just the coronavirus). The film production had to recreate a 50 Lakh Rupees film set, which had been destroyed due to vandalism, so we aren’t surprised that the film’s cast and crew are more than happy to get the film out there, for the public to view. For now we will just have to wait and see.
According to popular reports, the trailer for ‘Minnal Murali‘ is expected to drop on Netflix in a week. The movie is expected to drop directly for streaming in the same platform on September 10th.
