Apple TV+ which has started streaming world over from November 1st is getting ready with new content. It is all set to debut a movie, titled The Banker. The trailer of the film is out.
The Banker stars Marvel cinema regular Anthony Mackie in the lead role. He is supported by his Marvel co-star and senior actor Samuel L Jackson. Together, they plan a big money-making idea using the banking system.
Based on a true story, The Banker is set in the ’50s and is about blacks. Their raising among the ranks through real estate. The character of Anthony Mackie (Bernard Garrett) hatches a plan which is supported by Samuel L Jackson (Joe Morris). What is the idea and why it also involves a white man Nicholas Hoult (Steiner) fronting them form the parts of exciting narrative on offer.
The thing to note here is that The Banker would hit the cinemas first. It will release theatrically on December 6th. The same movie will be available to stream on Apple TV’s app, a month later. It will be mostly on the first of January 2020.
The success of The Banker theatrically and digitally will be keenly observed. It is due to the gap between releases. The critics want to see whether a model like this can click in the longer run.
