Trailer Talk : Addham Is Filled With Emotions! A Feather In The Cap For Aha Video!

By Binged Bureau - Oct 09, 2020 @ 06:10 pm

Aha Video is continuously coming with shows and movies all of which are becoming crowd pleaser. With their latest outing in the form of an anthology web series titled Addham, Aha will be hoping to continue their good fortunes and an undisturbed run in the market. After the launch of the trailer by Suriya, it seems like Addham is going to be another feather in the cap for Aha Video. Addham has been written by Siva Ananth. The show has been produced by SNDS Dreamcatchers LLP.

By the looks of the trailer Addham is going to be a hell lot of of an emotional ride. The trailer starts off by introducing us to the characters of the three stories in a quick montage full stop with each character having their own issues but as the tagline for the trailer suggest that all the three stories share the same theme. After watching the trailer we can see that all the stories are somewhere similar to each other. The three stories are named – The Unwhisperable Secret, Road that Never Ends and Crossroads. Each of the three follows complex storylines.

We see that in the trailer several of things from every story are happening quickly and so that we have decided to talk about each story separately.

Firstly let’s talk about – The Road That Never Ends ( Directed by – Sarjun KM )

This story follows a truck driver who lives with his wife, one night while driving he finds that a young boy of around 15 is asking for a lift, it seems that he ran off from somewhere. The truck driver takes him in and tells him that life isn’t that easy and big cities are problematic, he is trying to warn the runaway boy who has decided to come into the city for a decent life. It seems that further into the story he collapses and dies. The boy finds out a bag full of money and decides to run for it. He presumably later comes back to console the wife of the truck driver who confesses to him that even though she feels for her dead husband, she eventually would have killed her. This shocks the boy.

Story :- The Unwhisperable Secret ( Director – Siva Ananth )

This story follows a doctor, who meets a new patient who confesses to him that once he got involved in an hit and run case as he ran over a woman. He eventually got out of the case by bribing the officials. This creates a deep impact in the mind of a doctor who continuously battles with herself for what is right and wrong.

Story :- Crossroads ( Director – Barath Neelakantan )

This story follows a man who probably is married but his marriage is not going well. He meets a woman in the bar and behind talking to her. He asks her several questions that how will be the situation if what you think and presume of yourself will be the impression of yours in others mind. To this the woman replies that it would be great. She asks that wouldn’t it be great if people spoke their mind always? To which the man answers that he wouldn’t mind hearing lies from people so that he will feel good. Cut to another scene we see that the man’s wife asking questions to him about a girl and enquiring whether he liked the girl or he slept with her and that this wouldn’t bother him. The story follows the situations and the decisions made by the man.

Addham is all about the situations which will bound you to question your morals as every story has a certain suspense in it. Aha Video’s Addham seems like a perfect anthology series which is looking to focus on serious issues which are being faced by the common people in their daily life. In the end, it is all about the decisions you make to go further.

Apart from being rich in content, Addham has a brilliant starcast :-

G Kishore Kumar, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram, Pavithrah Marimuthu, Rohini Molleti, Abirami Venkatachalam, Praveen and others.

Addham will be releasing on Aha Video on 16th October 2020.
