Paoli Dam plays the mother to a kid who is in trouble. The story resumes from where it ended in season one. The son is in trouble again. This time he is kidnapped by a human trafficking gang. The mother has no other choice but to fight the evil and bring him back.
There is also a subplot involving the strained relationship of Kaali in her personal life with husband and son. They provide the emotional edge, whereas the rest give her a lot of reasons to shoot and fight. Kaali Season two is also set in the dark underbelly of Kolkata that is a little less explored.
The regular faces in the series from the previous season show up reprising their parts, here as well. And then there are a few new additions, too. They all add to the overall excitement on the series.
