ALTBalaji and ZEE5 have just released the trailer of the upcoming Season 2 of their much-adored series, Baarish. They have also revealed the premiere date for Baarish Season 2, and it happens to be 6th May. The trailer brings forth a shocking surprise in the form of the entry of a third wheel in the Anuj – Gauravi love saga. Yes, there’s a new entrant in the series in Season 2, and it is Gauravi’s once-upon-a-time boyfriend.
The story, in Season 2, undergoes a massive twist in the tale. Anuj (Sharman Joshi) and Gauravi (Asha Negi) have lost everything to Anuj’s mean and selfish siblings. They start anew, circumstances force Anuj to become interested only in one thing – earning pots and pots of money. That’s when things start going wrong between the once-loving couple, and a chasm opens up between them. Gauravi’s ex steps in to fill the void, and things worsen between the couple to the point of divorce.
Will their love saga culminate in a happy ending for the couple? Or will the season end on them drifting apart and staying that way, to allow for a Season 3?
We’ll only know when Season 2 debuts on ALTBalaji and ZEE5. In the meantime, we’re looking forward to the shocking twists and turns in the new season, along with veteran actor Jeetendra’s cameo, of course. He plays mentor to Anuj, and hopefully, orchestrates their reconciliation.
Baarish Season 2 premieres on ZEE5 and ALTBalaji on 6th May.
