Well who doesn’t like to get a sneak peek into the lives of famous people, and Netflix’s upcoming original series Masaba Masaba offers just that, for not one but two celebrities. The trailer for the series just came in and its bossy, classy and all things messy.
The series though scripted is based on the real-life moments of the iconic fashion designer Masaba Gupta and her famous actress mother Neena Gupta. The mother-daughter duo who are teaming up on screen for the first time, will be seen playing fictional versions of themselves in this playful Netflix series offering a glimpse into their lives of fashion and film.
Masaba Masaba is a Netflix original series that follows Masaba Gupta’s unique background, how she wades through her life and its struggles in both work and family and also her dating adventures. The trailer’s beginning shows Masaba as a young child who aspires to be a great designer one day. Although she becomes one when she grows up, she soon realises how she is caught up in one hot mess and only she herself can get her out of it.

Filled with cameos and special appearances from celebrities across the film industry, Masaba Masaba is filled with fun, laughter, celebrations, tears, struggles and inspiration. The series also features Neil Bhoopalam, Rytasha Rathore and Smaran SahuIt. It has been directed by Sonam Nair and produced by showrunner Ashvini Yardi through Viniyard Films.
