Naarinja Mithai – the Telugu dubbed version of critically-acclaimed Tamil film, Sillu Karuppatti (2019) is all set to premiere on Regional Telugu Exclusive OTT Platform, Aha Video. It will come before the audience on 29th January. Aha Video has released the trailer of the film a short while ago.
Naarinja Mithai is more like an anthology of four different people of different age groups, social conditions, education levels, etc. Each couple has two contrasting individuals involved. It looks like they are poles apart and can never live together but love binds them. Love in such contrasting situations often touches the audience at the right nodes spreading the warmth. After, life without such contrasts will be boring. The actors who played the roles look natural and the dubbing quality is also good.
Sillu Karuppatti is a critically acclaimed film that was screened at various film festivals across the globe. The only concern with Naarinja Mithai is if there are any nativity issues. Dubbing the successful films of other languages has worked big time for Aha Video during the Lockdown. There are quite a few good films as such in 2020. It has to be seen how the strategy works for them in 2021.
