Netflix has just released the trailer of its upcoming film, To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, the sequel to its 2018 blockbuster Original movie, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, giving viewers a taste of what’s to come.
The trailer gives ample clue to the the direction that the narrative will take in the second edition of the story. Lara Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter (Noah Centineo) make their fake romance a reality, going on real dates, sharing tender moments together and making dreamy memories. A certain sequence, where they light up paper lanterns and leave them to gently wift away into the inky sky, is particularly arresting.
The trailer also shows John Ambrose (Jordan Fisher) landing on Lara Jean’s doorstep with a bunch of flowers in hand. He’s one of the guys who receives Lara’s letters. He openly flirts with Lara, telling her delicious nothings, enough to melt any girl’s heart.
The trailer stops at that point, without telling us what happens further between Lara and John. Is the scenario ripe for a love triangle to take shape? Guess we’ll have to wait for the second trailer to get dope on that one.
To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You premieres on Netflix on 12th February 2020, just ahead of Valentine’s Day.
In the meanwhile, have a look at the trailer:
