The trailer for upcoming ZEE5 original movie, Yaara, is out, giving us ample glimpse of what we can expect when the movie finally drops on ZEE5 on 30th July. Yaara is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, and the trailer bears his trademark Hindi heartland mafiaos style, a la Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster.
Yaara is the story of four friends, Mitwa, Phagun, Rizwan and Bahadur, played by Amit Sadh, Vidyut Jammwal, Vijay Varma and Kenny Basumatary. And how they stick with each other through the perils of being gangsters and living the thug life. They live and thrive on the wrong side of the law, looking out for each other and having each other’s back whenever the need arises. The voice-over, narrated by Tigmanshu Dhulia himself, tells us how they’re proud that the world will remember them through their abiding friendship.
This part of their lives is depicted in the trailer through daredevil action, brazen holdups and Vidyut Jammwal’s stunning action stunts. The latter part of the Yaara trailer fast forwards to twenty years later, when the friends are seemingly at loggerheads, and yet harbour a soft spot for each other. While the first half of the trailer focuses only on the four friends and their action-packed shenanigans, the second half of the trailer features Shruti Haasan as Vidyut Jammwal’s lady love.
The Yaara trailer is fast-paced and packed with beautiful shots action sequences and memorable montages. From the looks of it, Yaara is certainly a movie to watch out for. The movie is produced by Sunil Kheterpal of Azure Entertainment, and Tigmanshu Dhulia.
