SonyLIV has launched the teaser trailer for its upcoming original series ’Brinda’ that marks the OTT debut of Trisha. Helmed by Surya Vengala, ‘Brinda’ will premiere only on SonyLIV on 2nd August, 2024.
‘Brinda’ trailer begins with disturbing dark rituals being performed where a young girl is tied up and is being prepped for something that looks like human sacrifice. The voiceover tells the viewers how there are vices like anger, betrayal and hatred within humans but it’s not these that we should battle with but rather fight with the good in us, making sure it doesn’t fade away.
What follows is a sequence of gripping events that create a sense of intrigue and thrills. Shots of people wailing and large number of dead bodies towards the end gives chilling vibes. Trisha is seen as an investigative officer who is entangled in a web of mysterious crime.
Directed by Surya Vengala, ‘Brinda’ boasts an ensemble cast, including Trisha who is making her OTT debut, Sai Kumar, Amani, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Ravindra Vijay among others. ‘Brinda’ will premiere exclusively on SonyLIV on 2nd August, 2024 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi and Bengali.
