After an underwhelming response at the box office, Trisha’s Tamil crime thriller drama ‘The Road’ is set for its digital premiere on Aha Tamil later this month.
‘The Road’ follows Meera, a journalist whose life turns upside down when her husband and son die in a road accident on a national highway. Turns out it isn’t just any normal accident but there’s something bigger at play.
On the other hand is Maya, a college professor who is troubled by the constant harassment caused by a female student’s unhealthy obsession with him and the subsequent shocking consequences.
Written and directed by Arun Vaseegaran, ‘The Road’ stars Trisha Shabeer Kallarakkal, Santhosh Pratap, Miya George, Vivek Prasanna, Vela Ramamoorthy and more.
K. G. Venkatesh handles the cinematography for the film with editing by AR Sivaraj and music by Sam C. S. Produced by AAA Cinemaa, ‘The Road’ will premiere on Aha Tamil on 10th November, 2023.
