TVF Shows Are Ruling The Indian OTT Space

TVF, or The Viral Fever, has been a pivotal part of Indian entertainment. The company has shifted from regular YouTube to OTT platforms with some of their shows, enhancing their credibility and making them more relevant.

Currently, three shows are achieving new feats in terms of appreciation and viewership.

TVF’s Kota Factory, available on Netflix India, is loved by the audience. The black-and-white show, with its undertone of the depressing reality, has become a pivotal pillar of a universe I call the “Student-Verse.” Jitendra Kumar is the heartbeat of the show, while Mayur More reflects all students.

In terms of viewership, the show’s third season stands at fourth position for the first half of the year, accumulating 15.7 million views.

Gullak sits at seventh place among the most-watched Hindi series. Capturing the essence of a general Indian family, the SonyLiv show’s fourth season focuses on Indian parenthood, upbringing, and struggles, capturing the audience’s attention.

The viewership numbers for Gullak are strong, with over 12.1 million views. Notably, Gullak appeals to both city youth and rural areas, indicating that the makers are hitting the right spot.

On the other hand, we saved the best for last. Panchayat Season 3 is not only one of the best shows TVF has ever produced, but it also showcases the struggles of Sachiv Ji as he navigates life between the city and village and is emotionally invested in the village and Panchayat.

Prime Video’s advertisement for the show has been one of the best ever in Indian OTT. With a viewership of 28.2 million, Panchayat is the most-watched Hindi series in India this year.
