After the astounding success of ‘Panchayat’, The Viral Fever is brining its next titled ‘Gram Chikitsalay’ in collaboration with Prime Video. This latest series has now got a premiere date as well.
‘Gram Chikitsalay’ is set in a village called Bhatkandi and follows the journey of a doctor from the city as he adjusts to life at a rural public health center.
The premise sounds very similar to ‘Panchayat’ where we saw a young urban man trying to settle in his new rural government job. Whether and how TVF and Prime Video will manage to set this new show apart from ‘Panchayat’ and create a fan base of its own without being stereotyped will be interesting to see.
‘Gram Chikitsalay’ stars Amol Parashar, Vinay Pathak, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Garima Vikrant Singh, and Akash Makhija among others.
Among the crew we have Rahul Pandey as director while Shreya Srivastava and Vaibhav Suman serve as writers for ‘Gram Chikitsalay’ which is all set to start streaming only on Prime Video from 9th May, 2025.
