Two Pirates Of The Caribbean Movies On The Go: But No Jack Sparrow!

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has shared some insights on the future of the “Pirates Of The Caribbean’. He has said that the Margot Robbie starrer ‘Pirates’ will certainly happen and scriptwriter Jeff Nathanson has been roped in to write the movies.

There will be two movies and it seems that they will be spin-offs of the Pirate world created by Disney with the five ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ movies.

The 2017 movie ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ was also scripted by Jeff Nathanson himself. It will be a complete reboot and the old characters will not be coming back and that is something depressing for the fans. Because the fan favourite Jack Sparrow will not be returning anymore. He was the most popular character and carried forward the franchise almost single-handedly. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer says that if it were upto him, he would have made Jack Sparrow return, but things are going in a different direction now and there is not much possibility.

The producer has appreciated the vision of Nathanson for the franchise and has said, “He’s got an amazing third act. We just gotta clean up the first and second and then we’ll get there. But he wrote a great, great third act.”

However, no dates and other cast additions have been revealed by the makers. And no information about the plot and structure of the movies have yet been disclosed as well. Fans of Margot Robbie, and of the Pirates series as well wait for the movies eagerly.
