Two Series Regulars Are Bidding Farewell To The Flash With Season 7!

DC’s one of the most successful TV series without doubt has to be The Flash. With 7 seasons and an 8th one already on the cards fans are thrilled with what they are constantly getting. The show has some series regulars and with each season their fandom keeps on growing as much as their characters. Well, now news is there that two of the series regulars, after season 7 will finally be exiting the show.

Actors Carlos Valde and Tom Cavanagh are both officially leaving The Flash. Carlos has been playing the role of Cisco Ramon and also Vibe, which later became Mecha Vibe, while Cavanagh played the role of Harrison Wells. Cavanagh assessed the roles of Wells from various alternatives and in the earlier seasons he played the roles of Eobard Thawne as well as Reverse Flash.

It has also been reported that Tom Cavanagh was actually slated to end his tenure as Harrison Wells at the end of Season 6, he even penned down his goodbyes on social media back in 2020, stating his exit. But as pandemic took over, many seasons of various series were cut short, which also included The Flash. Tom stayed on for Season 7, as they had to tie up his various storyline lines in the season and this concluded in the first three episodes of season 7.

While with episode 3, Cavanagh marked the end of his journey as a series regular on The Flash, he will continue to appear as a guest star for the rest of the season. Carlos Valde on the other hand will mark the end of his journey with the finale episode of Season 7. After season 7, both Cavanagh and Valdes are expected to appear as guests for the upcoming seasons.

With Tom Cavanagh and Carlos Valdes leaving, the show is left with the star Grant Gustin, who plays the role of The Flash. Besides him, Candice Patton and Danielle Panabaker will also continue to appear on the show. While all three have been finalized for Season 8, as of now they are discussing their terms and deals with the makers of the show.

Tom Cavanagh and Carlos Valdes leaving the show will definitely leave a void for the fans as they have been two very important members that made up the team Flash. But with the assurance of both of them coming back in guest appearances, is enough for the fans at the moment.

Cavanagh commented on his exit and said that fans shouldn’t stop watching the show just because the characters have ended their journeys on it. He urged fans to keep following the show even when they are gone.

And we are sure, fans won’t disappoint Cavanagh’s words and they will continue to shower the lover over The Flash and the upcoming seasons!
