The first poster for Jackie Shroff’s upcoming movie is out now. It is titled ‘Two Zero One Four’ and it will be an espionage thriller.
The movie is written and directed by Shravan Tiwari and produced by Sandip Patel under the banner of SRH Films. Apart from Shroff, the film will also have actors like Akshay Oberoi, Mukesh Rishi, Uday Tikekar and Shishir Sharma.
Reportedly, the film will be a fictional story combined with media reports. It tells the story of 2014, when a chief minister is being viewed by all as the Prime Minister of the country. Foreign conspirators do not want that to happen and they plan something vicious for him. A retired Captain named Khanna is called to stop the conspirators anyhow. The poster has the subtitle ‘Before Chief Minister, Became Prime Minister’, which is a tough phrase to derive any sense from. However, the Gujarat references in the motion poster and the year in title itself, point out its striking similarity with the rule of Prime Minister Modi. There is a strong possibility that the movie will be a fiction loosely based during the times of Modi’s 2014 electoral campaigns.
Whether this is a propaganda film or it really has some sense to it, only time will tell. One thing that fans are waiting eagerly for, is Jackie Shroff’s return in the lead role on the silver screens. It has been long since he has acted in a lead role. There are a number of cameos and character role that were quite impactful, like the cameo in ‘Jailer’ but ‘Two Zero One Four’ has greater opportunities for the star. Let us see if the movie can utilize his unique style and talents.
