Under the Stars is an upcoming rom-com, starring the likes of Toni Colette, Andy Garcia, Alex Pettyfer, and Eva De Dominici. Its filming has commenced in Italy.
Apart from the above-mentioned names, the romantic comedy also has Jessica Michel Serfaty, Chiara Iezzi, and Rob Estes in its cast. Capstone will be handling the film’s domestic distribution. Whereas its global distribution will be taken care of by Arclight.
The film’s production has commenced in Puglia, Italy, and will shift to London after some days.
Under the Stars will revolve around a struggling romance novelist who gets stuck in a boring and passionless relationship. His relationship also starts to affect his work. As a result, the novelist decides to visit Italy to look for inspiration. However, things change dramatically after he discovers the woman of his dreams there.
Toni Colette’s last project was the animated film ‘Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken’, which came out last year. In addition, she has worked with Bong Joon-ho on his upcoming Mickey 17, which has Robert Pattinson in the lead. She will play the character of Gwen Johansen in this one.
Michelle Danner will helm Under the Stars, which is based on a script penned by Victoria Vinuesa. Brandos Film will also co-produce the film, along with Arclight Films and Capstone Studios. In addition, Capstone is financing the project as well. Stay tuned for more updates.
