Netflix has unveiled the official trailer of Jerry Seinfeld’s upcoming ‘Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story’, which is set to premiere on the streaming platform on May 3.
According to Netflix’s Tudum, ‘Unfrosted’ takes place in Michigan, in 1963, back when Post and Kellogg’s were sworn rivals. These two prominent American breakfast-making companies find themselves in a race to create a pastry that forever changed people’s perception of breakfast. The film’s story touches on betrayal, ambition, and a whole lot of sweetness.
Unfrosted is the product of the talented and globally prominent comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld, who helmed the film, too. Apart from Seinfeld, the film is jam-packed with stars, such as Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, James Marsden, Jack McBrayer, Thomas Lennon, Bill Burr, Dan Levy, Hugh Grant, Christian Slater, Maria Bakalova, and more.
Seinfeld has campaigned for a pop-tart film for many years. In 2021, Netflix bagged the rights to the movie. The actor and comedian is best known for his work on the legendary sitcom, Seinfeld (currently available on Netflix).
Jerry Seinfeld has co-produced ‘Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story’ with Spike Feresten and Beau Beauman under the banner of Columbus 81 Productions. Stay tuned for more updates. Enjoy the trailer below!
