Unpaused: Stunning Lineup Of Cast & Crew In Amazon Prime Video’s New Anthology!

Amazon Prime Video today dropped the first look teaser of its delightful new offering – Unpaused. A delightful anthology of five stories, woven into one sweet package. And it did so, out of the blue, just like that! Not even the most die-hard web series junky or hard-nosed industry insider had a clue about the anthology dropping on Amazon Prime Video this December.

What is even more exciting about this upcoming anthology is the absolutely stunning cast and crew that is attached to the five stories that make up Amazon Prime Video’s Unpaused . Stunning is an underwhelming word to describe it. Our skin tingles and insides jingle at the mere thought of getting to watch the sheer talent on display, all in one place.

The five stories have been directed by a bunch of consummate directors – Raj & DK (The Family Man, Stree), Tannishtha Chatterjee (actress – Brick Lane, Dekh Indian Circus), Nikkhil Advani (Kal Ho Na Ho, Batla House), Avinash Arun (Pataal Lok) and Nitya Mehra (Baar Baar Dekho). Phew, so much talent in one place!

And now for the cast. Amazon Prime Video’s Unpaused has a stellar cast that is easily every filmmaker’s dream. The stories feature Lillette Dubey and Rinku Rajguru feature in one of the stories. One has Saiyami Kher, Gulshan Devaiah and Komal Chhabria in the story. One of the films features Richa Chadha, Ishwak Singh and Sumeet Vyas. Ratna Pathak Shah and Shardul Bhardwaj feature in one of the stories. The last film features Abhishek Banerjee, Geetika Vidya Ohlyan and Palash Prajapati. Each of these actors is a masterclass in acting prowess.

Unpaused is an anthology shot in the lockdown. The teaser that dropped today on Amazon Prime Video shows glimpses of the actors coping with the lockdown, each in their own way. The stories brim with hope, love, dreams, new beginnings and second chances at happiness.

The trailer of Unpaused is slated to release on 8th December on Amazon Prime Video’s social media. Until then all we can do is wait with bated breath for this breath-taking anthology.
