The official trailer for ‘V/H/S 85’ is out now. It is the sixth installment of the horror movie series.
The film will feature various segments with stories directed by filmmakers like David Bruckner, Scott Derrickson, Gigi Saul Guerrero, Natasha Kermani and Mike P. Nelson. The cinematography is handled by Nick Junkersfeld. The movie will have its premiere on the 6th of October.
The movie is based on the 80s and made in a documentary style. V/H/S is a found footage horror series and these handheld camera movements and amateurish shot-taking make the movies all the more eerie. The movie will have five stories: one in which scientists observe an unusual boy fixated on his TV, one where some kids go on a lake skiing adventure, one where a TV crew trying to survive a disaster, one captures the horrors of the initial days of VR, and the last is a horrible nightmare captured on tape.
V/H/S is a series that is growing much more popular day by day. It has now six Found Footage films, two spin-offs and a miniseries. The first movie came out in 2012 and received mixed reviews. It was an anthology too and told the story of some goons breaking into a house and finding some cassettes. The tapes had in them various creepy stories of a couple going to honeymoon, some amateurs having sex or friends going for a picnic, all the stories get a horrific twist in the end. V/H/S 2 came out the next year and it was a success with the critics as well.
If you like differently made horror movies, you should not miss V/H/S and the series. Also remember to watch V/H/S 85 when it releases.
