Vaazhai Sees Increase In Show Timings After Release

Written, co-produced, and directed by Mari Selvaraj, Vaazhai is a heartbreaking biographical children’s drama in the Indian Tamil language. The film, which is a moving depiction of the hardships and resiliency of a little kid growing up in rural Tamil Nadu, was produced by Disney+ Hotstar, Navvi Studios, and Farmer’s Master Plan Production. Vaazhai, a film that skillfully combines the harsh truths of life with the innocence of infancy, is partly based on Selvaraj’s personal experiences.

The plot centers on Sivanaindhan, a gifted young child who does well in school but has to labor on a banana plantation on the weekends to support his poor family. Ponvel M., making his feature film debut, plays Sivanaindhan.

His mental turmoil is subtly explored in the film as he balances work and education, longing for the carefree pleasures of childhood but are frequently out of reach because of his obligations.
