After the amazing success of ‘Suzhal: The Vortex’, Pushkar and Gayatri are back with their next thrilling web series ‘Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie’ and the trailer for the same is here. ‘Vadhandhi’ will premiere only on Amazon Prime Video on 2nd December, 2022.
‘Vadhandhi’ trailer begins in a windmill farm where investigating officer Vivek is checking out the crime site with a colleague where Velonie was murdered, trying to figure out how she would have reached there.
As the investigation continues and Vivek gets deeper into it, it turns out to be quite mysterious and intriguing as he finds out about evidence tampering and someone trying to cover it up.
Things get more twisted as people close to Velonie have their own take about her and her murder in their statements to the police. As the news of her murder spreads so do a bunch of rumours that make it more difficult for Vivek to uncover the truth. On the other hand media trying to create a sensational news out of it makes it even more complicated.
Written, directed and created by Andrew Louis, ‘Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie’ follows Vivek, a diligent cop, who takes charge of the investigation of the murder of a beautiful young girl, Velonie. The rumours about her that spring up post her death threatens to irrevocably damage Velonie’s image, Vivek must wade through a web of half-truths and confusing leads to solve the case.
‘Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie’ stars S.J. Suryah, Sanjana, Laila, Nasser, Vivek Prasanna, Hareesh Peradi, Smruthi Venkat and Kumaran Thangarajan among others. Produced by Pushkar and Gayatri under their Wallwatcher Films banner, ‘Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie’ will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
