Fans’ crazed demand for a definite update on Valimai has reached stratospheric proportions. Now, despite star Ajith and producer Boney Kapoor’s request for patience, a boisterous fan has taken the demand to the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections! The demand was made by the fan on the official Twitter account of Vanathi Srinivasan, BJP candidate from Coimbatore South, and also the National President of the Women’s Wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He simply wrote on her timeline,
“#ValimaiUpdate, when?”
Vanathi Srinivasan took the tweet sportingly, in the same jovial spirit it was sent in. She replied playfully that the Valimai update will definitely come once she wins the elections. How cool is that!

It’s been a year since the makers of Valimai have released an update on Thala Ajith’s film. Fans are getting more and more restless for a glimpse of the Tamil superstar in Valimai. ‘Valimai’ is produced by Boney Kapoor, along with Zee Studios, it is directed by G Vinoth, and stars Huma Qureshi, Karthikeya and Raj Ayyappa in key roles, besides Ajith.
