Varchasva is a movie that promises something unique as compared to the other films that propagate the same tried and tested formula. The announcement poster of ‘Varchasva: An Absolute power’ was just released some time ago and one can find it keenly reminiscent of ‘KGF’.
None the less the poster still stands out and the story revolves around the domination of the coal mines of Dhanbad. Varchasva will be produced by Husain Kurji under the banner of Kurji Productions. The film is written by Rajesh M Sharma and executive produced by Jitendra Kumar Singh. The film is set to be directed by debutant director Manish Singh. There is no information about the cast until this point.
The film is set in the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand that is also known as the coal capital of India. The storyline revolves around an MLA who has risen to power and has a stronghold in the region but is challenged by an honest and hardworking Ajay who raises his voice against all the wrongdoings against the workers and women in the region.
Ajay will have to battle his personal problems that revolve around his family along with taking on a politically connected and powerful person like Amresh Singh (The MLA) who tries to smother Ajay’s image by portraying him as a goon through the media.
Varchasva: An absolute power is set in the 90s and is said to be inspired by true events. The shooting of Varchasva aims to begin towards the end of 2021 as the lockdown restrictions will ease but nothing can be said for sure.
