It is a movie that tells the story of a boy named Vivek Singh. He’s 17 years old and lives in Lucknow. Vivek has big dreams, but he faces challenges from his parents who have their own ambitions for him. On top of that, Vivek is trying to prepare for the JEE exam to get into college. Everyone, everyone knows the kind of sacrifices JEE demands. Vivek would have to go through the same.
The movie is set in the late 90s, a time when life was different, but some things, like the pressure to succeed, were the same. Vivek’s journey is full of ups and downs as he tries to balance his dreams with the expectations of his family and the intense competition of the exam.
The lead actor Bodhisattva Sharma plays Vivek. Debutant director Varun Grover has entertained us with several great films. But, it is the first time he has directed a movie.
Even though the movie didn’t do as well in theaters, it’s getting a second chance on Netflix India. So, if you’re interested, watch “All India Rank” from the 19th of April.
