The trailer for Varun Tej’s patriotic film ‘Operation Valentine’ is finally out. The Telugu and Hindi bilingual film will hit theatres on 1st March, 2024.
The almost three minute long trailer for Telugu – Hindi bilingual film ‘Operation Valentine’ reveals the story of the movie in no uncertain terms. The trailer follows an Indian Air Force officer, played by Varun Tej, with a traumatic back story. The narrative then moves to the Pulwama attack, and the counter aerial attacks launched by the Indian Air Force. We get glimpses of zipping aircraft, dogfights in the air and more, culminating in wins for our hero.
Sounds familiar? It should — because within half a minute of watching the trailer, you realise that Operation Valentine is nothing but a clone of the recently released Hrithik Roshan starrer, ‘Fighter’. There’s nothing much to differentiate between the two movies except the leading man of course.
How ‘Operation Valentine’ will perform at the box office is up in the air right now, coming as it does so close to the release of Fighter. This is not the only movie that features the bravado of the Indian Air Force. There was also Uri before it.
Besides Varun Tej as leading man, Operation Valentine stars Manushi Chhillar as the female lead. Navdeep, Mir Sarwar, Shataf Figar, Ruhani Sharma, among others, form the rest of the cast. Shakti Pratap Singh Hada has directed the film, while Sony Pictures International Productions, Sandeep Mudda’s Renaissance Pictures, Vakil Khan’s God Bless Entertainment, and Nandakumar Abbineni are the producers of Operation Valentine. Mickey J Meyer has scored the music.
