Production for popular superstar Salman Khan’s next film ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ is in full swing. The filming schedule for the movie commenced last month in the second week of May in the Vile Parle area in Mumbai. And now, as per the latest buzz, the next shooting schedule for ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ is expected to take place in Hyderabad in a reworked version of the magnificent Dharmasthali set, which was previously created for ‘Acharya’ movie.
During the said filming schedule, eminent actor Venkatesh will also reportedly be a part of it. It is already known that the veteran performer will be essaying an important role in the film. And ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ is Venkatesh’s comeback in the Hindi film industry after a long hiatus. Earlier, he has featured in only two Hindi movies namely ‘Anari’ (1993) and ‘Taqdeerwala’ (1995).
Some of you might already be aware of the fact that previously, ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ was supposed to be produced by Salman Khan’s old friend and associate Sajid Nadiadwala. However, now, Salman Khan himself is backing the project besides starring in it.
Along with Salman Khan and Venkatesh, ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ will also feature Pooja Hegde as the lead actress, Jassie Gill (replacement for Aayush Sharma), and Siddharth Nigam (apparent replacement for Zaheer Iqbal) in pivotal roles. Moreover, as per the latest buzz, the extremely popular former Bigg Boss contestant Shehnaaz Gill is ostensibly still a part of the project contrary to rumours suggesting otherwise. Official confirmation is still awaited in this regard.
‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ is being helmed by Farhad Samji, whose last film ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role was a box office disappointment. So, it would be interesting to see whether the filmmaker would be able to make a successful comeback with Salman Khan at the centre stage this time. ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ is set to release in cinemas on 30th December this year.
