‘Sardar Udham’ will be on Amazon Prime Video in about a week and we just can’t wait to see Vicky Kaushal create his magic on screen as he always does. Releasing digitally on Prime Video on 16th October, a new dialogue promo for ‘Sardar Udham’ is out now.
After stunning the audience with the intriguing trailer a few days back, Vicky Kaushal is here once again amazing with his intense dialogue delivery skills. The promo shows Udham Singh entering London seeking revenge for the deaths of his fellow countrymen and women, after having waited for 21 years.
While the top agencies of the world like MI5 and Scotland Yard are looking for him, he is busy meticulously planning out his attack. Calling himself a revolutionary, Sardar Udham Singh’s patriotism and fight for his country might not feel conventional to outsiders but was a result of great struggle.
Udham Singh was only 20 years old when he witnessed the bloodbath in 1919 during the Jallianwala Bagh massacre but he could never forget that sight. In 1931 he escaped to Afghanistan from where he reached London in 1933-34 via sea route. There he spent six very important years of his life breathing life into the revolution started by his guru Bhagat Singh. He waited patiently to kill General Michael O’Dwyer sacrificing his life in the process.
Shoojit Sircar (‘Vicky Donor’, ‘Madras Cafe’, ‘Piku’) has directed ‘Sardar Udham’ with a story written by Ritesh Shah and Shubhendu Bhattacharya. Other than National Award winning actor Vicky Kaushal, the film also stars Amol Parashar as Bhagat Singh and Banita Sandhu as Shruti Tiwari among others.
‘Sardar Udham’ will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this Dussehra on 16th October, 2021.
