Disney+ Hotstar has unveiled the release date for Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming film ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ that has opted to skip theatres and is now coming to OTT. Helmed by Shashank Khaitan (‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, ‘Good Newwz’), ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ is a Dharma Productions film.
Disney+ Hotstar revealed the release date for ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ along with character posters for the lead stars of the film. Vicky Kaushal stars as Govinda Waghmare who is a background dancer in the film industry and has quite a messed up life.
Bhumi Pednekar stars as his hot wife Gauri and her poster where she is seen in a purple silk night gown, sitting on an accent chair is as sultry as it gets. On the other hand is Kiara Advani as Suku, Govinda’s naughty girlfriend who is a cool and chirpy girl.
‘Govinda Naam Mera’ follows a chaotic, confusing and laughter filled story of a very charming Govinda who juggles his time and love between his wife and girlfriend.
Written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ is a comedy drama starring Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan.
‘Govinda Naam Mera’ is a Viacom18, Mentor Disciple Films and Dharma Productions production and will premiere only on Disney+ Hotstar on 16th December, 2022.
