A 2022 release.” Without revealing much at all, the teaser only shows the basics of those involved, though against the backdrop of the Mumbai Sea Link. So it is safe to assume that this thriller drama will be one that’s based in the city. The catchy background music also sets the tone of the movie, giving an idea that this could be one hard-hitting thriller to watch out for!
Actress Vidya Balan also shared a similar update on her Instagram handle without forgetting to mention that she was excited to team up with director Triveni again, who she has earlier worked with in the 2017 comedy drama ‘Tumhari Sulu’.
It had been reported earlier that the film was expected to go on floors in September, but it looks like shooting for the movie has begun sooner. This film will see the two talented actresses in a thriller based on class differences in society. Both actresses are not new to thrillers, Vidya’s most popular one being the ‘Kahaani’ series, while Shefali was fabulous in the Netflix web show ‘Delhi Crime’.
On the work front, actress Shefali Shah, last seen in the Netflix anthology ‘Ajeeb Dastaans’, has just wrapped up the shoot of Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Darlings’ and will now juggle between the sets of ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Doctor G’, also starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh. Meanwhile, Vidya Balan who is currently basking in the success of ‘Sherni’, has Atul Kasbekar’s rom-com alongside Pratik Gandhi in the pipeline.
