Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer romantic comedy drama ‘Kushi’ has now got a release date. The pan Indian film helmed by Shiva Nirvana, ‘Kushi’ is set to release in cinemas on 1st September, 2023 in in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
The announcement came with a new poster of the film featuring Vijay Deverakonda as a government employee dressed in a formal shirt. His background is that of the snow laden mountains and prayer flags. On the other half is Samantha in a high rise apartment building holding a dog leaning out of the balcony.
The couple is holding hands and look adorable. Moreover, the two diverse backgrounds depict two different worlds where the couple lives separately long to meet.
Written and directed by Shiva Nirvana, ‘Kushi’ is a romantic comedy film starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha in lead roles. Other members of the cast include Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth lyengar and Saranya.
Music for ‘Kushi’ is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, G Murali handles the cinematography and editing is done by Prawin Pudi. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Y, under the banner Mythri Movie Makers.
‘Kushi’ was earlier set to release in theatres last Christmas on 23rd December, 2022 but got postponed indefinitely. The film will now release on 1st September, 2023, quite a long gap from the earlier announced date. ‘Kushi’ will release in theatres in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
