Sithara Entertainment has announced its latest project starring Vijay Deverakonda in lead role. The yet to be titled film will be helmed by ‘Jersey’ filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri and is Deverakonda’s 12th film in lead role.
The announcement for #VD12 (working title) has been made with an intriguing poster where a police officer is shown with his face covered in black cloth. The background is that of a water body during night. Boats are burning and there is fire and smoke all around depicting destruction after an accident or attack.
#VD12 is most likely a thrilling spy-action drama as the tagline on the poster reads “I don’t know where I belong, to tell you whom I betrayed – Anonymous Spy”.
The film marks first such collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Gowtam Tinnanuri and is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. #VD12 is bankrolled under the banners of Sithara Entertainment, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Cinemas.
Gowtam Tinnanuri made his directorial debut with ‘Malli Raava’ in 2017 but it was Nani starrer ’Jersey’ (2019) that shot him to fame. He even directed the Hindi remake of ‘Jersey’ starring Shahid Kapoor. On the other hand, ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame Vijay Deverakonda whose last film and Bollywood debut ‘Liger’ was a disaster, is currently working on the much awaited ‘Kushi’ co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
