The Family Star is a proper romantic drama starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. The promotions were really really tiring for the actors as we saw them visibly tired and yet dancing in awkward situations at random places. Yes, they had had a hell of a time in The Family Star.
Still, poor content slashed the film and it had a really negative impact. The movie produced by Dil Raju is directed by Parasuram.
Other than the two leads it stars Jagapathi Babu, Divyansha Kaushik, Vennela Kishor, Ravi Prakash and many more.
So what’s the story of The Family Star?
Govardhan (Vijay Devarakonda) is a dedicated family man with an alcoholic brother. He meets Indu when she moves into his neighborhood, and they quickly become friends. Eventually, they fall in love. After a major incident, Govardhan reconciles with his brother. However, when he discovers Indu is writing a thesis on his family, he feels betrayed, slaps her, and vows to teach her a lesson. He joins a former employer (Jagapathi Babu) to undermine her thesis but later finds out Indu is the boss’s daughter. Despite their issues, Indu helps him financially. They fall in love again, but Indu overhears Govardhan saying she’s not right for him and leaves, heartbroken.
Anyways, the movie was streaming on Prime Video for a long time but the Hindi version is also streaming now. The Family Star is now streaming on JioCinema in Hindi and perhaps you would not wanna watch it.
