Vikram Vedha Trailer: Hrithik-Saif Chemistry Sets the Screen on Fire

Another eagerly anticipated Indian film ‘Vikram Vedha’ is geared up for its grand theatrical release on 30th September. It’s the Hindi remake of the widely acclaimed 2017 Tamil action thriller movie of the same name. And like the parent film, the remake is also being helmed by the husband-wife writer-director duo Pushkar-Gayathri. The movie’s buzz has reached its crescendo now that the film’s trailer has just been unveiled by the makers.

Vikram Vedha’ trailer starts off with a voiceover explaining the philosophical difference between good and bad and what if both good and bad are wrong? From the trailer, it seems that the makers have added more swag, more fire, and more masala (in a good way) to the film’s Hindi remake.

And the presence of two proficient star performers Hrithik Roshan (in terrific form) and Saif Ali Khan is expected and their action-packed confrontation scenes set the remake apart from the parent film, or who knows, even better. The chemistry between the lead actors is sizzling to say the least.

Another X-factor about the ‘Vikram Vedha’ remake is the presence of the supremely talented filmmaker Neeraj Pandey (Director – A Wednesday, Baby) in the capacity of a creative producer. So, we can safely expect some creative fireworks there.

Inspired by the immensely popular Indian folktale Vikram-Betaal, the parent film ‘Vikram Vedha’ revolves around the two titular characters – a tough and upright police officer Vikram (originally essayed by Madhavan) and a dreaded gangster Vedha (played by Vijay Sethupathi). The story starts off with Vedha voluntarily surrendering himself to the cops. The goings-on take an interesting turn when Vedha begins to play mind games with Vikram by narrating three different stories that makes the cop rethink the concept of good and evil.

In the ‘Vikram Vedha’ Hindi remake, Hrithik Roshan has stepped into the shoes of the gangster Vedha while Saif Ali Khan is portraying the role of the determined cop Vikram. Interestingly, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were offered the role in the film, however, that didn’t work out. After completing its theatrical run, the film will start streaming on the Voot Select OTT platform. Meanwhile, watch the ‘Vikram Vedha’ trailer below and stay tuned to Binged.
