Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram Is Back On Track For Release

Chiyaan Vikram’s long-awaited spy thriller, Dhruva Natchathiram, is ready to release this year. The film’s production work began way back in 2016. But it went straight to the territory of “production hell” because of director Gautham Vasudev Menon’s financial problems. The production team has travelled to seven different countries to shoot the scenes for the film. But now, the highly-anticipated Vikram starrer finally has a release window.

Latest reports have affirmed that the leading man, Vikram, has started the movie’s dubbing process and will finish it soon. In addition to this, Menon is also trying to finish the remaining work for the film. If we consider all these things, then it is safe to assume that the upcoming Tamil spy action project may drop somewhere around June this year. However, it is not clear whether the makers are interested in the film’s theatrical or direct OTT release. We will inform you about it as soon as we get an official announcement from the producers regarding this matter.

Vikram is playing the character of a well-trained secret agent, John, in the movie. He finds himself on a mission to protect the head of a spy network from the hands of kidnappers.

Vikram’s last project with his son Dhruv Vikram, Mahaan, performed well through its Prime Video release. Plus, his forthcoming projects, Cobra and Ponniyin Selvan: I, have found their dispatch dates. The first one is coming out on May 26. On the other hand, PS: I has locked its release date on September 30.

Apart from Vikram, we have Aishwarya Rajesh and Simran in Dhruva Natchathiram’s cast. It may come out in June 2022. Stay tuned for more updates.
