Tamil action thriller drama ‘Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2’ came out in theatres last month and after completing exactly four weeks on the big screen, it is all set to land on OTT.
An SU Arun Kumar directorial, ‘Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2’ is about Kaali, a provision store owner and a loving husband and father, his involvement in a dangerous crime network and the mysterious mission he undertakes.
The film received good reviews upon it’s theatrical release with praises for a gripping, detailed and intense storyline and excellent performances specially that by Vikram. Certain issues were raised about the pacing of the film but overall it delivers the desired impact.
Despite such amazing response from critics, ‘Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2’ performed a little less than expected at the box office. Something similar had happened with Vikram’s last film ‘Thangalaan’ as well which underperformed commercially but earned praises from critics.
Now that ‘Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2’ is coming to Prime Video on April 24th, 2025, there are high chances it will be received well and more widely given that it will premiere in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam on the platform.
