Kiccha Sudeep’s tentpole pan India film ‘Vikrant Rona’ has had a successful theatrical run and is soon going to land on OTT platform. Helmed by Anup Bhandari, ‘Vikrant Rona’ is all set for its digital premiere on Zee5.
‘Vikrant Rona’ is an action adventure thriller film set almost half a century ago in a remote village in the middle of a tropical rainforest that starts witnessing a series of unexplainable events which they attribute to the supernatural.
Despite performing well at the box office on account of the star power, interesting premise and promotional strategies, ‘Vikrant Rona’ was not well received by the critics whose reviews ranged mostly from negative to mixed. Now that the film is set for digital release it will interesting to see how it performs on OTT.
Written and directed by Anup Bhandari ‘Vikrant Rona’ stars Kiccha Sudeep, Nirup Bhandari, debutante Neetha Ashok, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ravishankar Gowda, Madhusudhan Rao and Vasuki Vaibhav.
Jack Manjunath and Shalini Manjunath are the producers of ‘Vikrant Rona’ with Alankar Pandian of Invenio Films serving as co-producer. The production companies behind the film are Zee Studios, Kiccha Creations, Shalini Arts and Invenio Films.
‘Vikrant Rona’ released worldwide in 3D version on 28th July, 2022 in 14 languages including Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and English. ‘Vikrant Rona’ is likely to release on Zee5 on 2nd September, 2022.
