Exclusive: Viva Harsha Discusses the Highs and Blues of Content Creation

Actor, content creator, and comedian, Viva Harsha was one of the first digital stars to emerge out of the Telugu land.

His firm focus on timely YouTube content has taken him places, won him millions of followers among Gen-Z, and earned him a bankable position in Tollywood as well.

At a recent event discussing the evolution of the OTT industry, Harsha took time out to talk about his journey to Binged.com:

“It’s important to make content that you believe in, on your terms. And more important to understand that you can’t make content that’s intentionally relatable among youngsters. I didn’t foresee this stardom. I stuck to doing a lot of groundwork and understood the intricacies of making a popular video that’s consumed by everyone.”

Content creation wasn’t seen as a possible profession back when he started, according to Harsha.

While discussing a few rules that he follows in his digital stint, Harsha, in conversation with Binged.com had shared:

“Stick to your fundamentals and be as original as possible. Don’t read the comments section. Although it might seem harsh, likes and dislikes to your video are a way of feedback. Take that feedback into consideration but don’t let that be the only factor driving your content forward.”
