After “Kashmir Files”, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri revealed that he will be soon working on a new project , titled as “The Delhi Files.” Before “Kashmir Files,” Agnihotri worked on projects like “The Tashkent Files,” “Hate Story,” “Zid.”
Sharing a post on Twitter, he wrote:
“I thank all the people who owned #TheKashmirFiles. For the last 4 yrs, we worked very hard with utmost honesty & sincerity. I may have spammed your TL but it’s important to make people aware of the GENOCIDE & injustice done to Kashmiri Hindus. It’s time for me to work on a new film.”
Thereafter this post, he twitted, “#TheDelhiFiles,” giving us an insinuation about the new movie’s title, but not revealing anything about the plot of the story.
“Kashmir Files” was a massive hit in the box office, minting over 330 crores. But it stirred some controversies and debate among the political parties after the movie was exempted from entertainment tax by the BJP ruling states. Also certain critics called out for it’s political controversies but overall the movie was garnered with a lot of love from the audiences.
