Warner Bros In A Soup As Racism On Sets Issue Heats Up

Ray Fisher shocked the entertainment industry in July when he came out with serious allegations on the 2017 Justice League director Joss Wheadon. Fisher claimed that during the reshoots for the movie, the director treated the cast and crew in a “very unprofessional, gross, abusive and unacceptable manner”. He further stated that the producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg knew of this and they were infact the ones who were okay with it. The issue became a high profile one and thus Warner Bros eventually launched a probe to look into the matter. But earlier this month the officials from WB claimed that Fisher was uncooperative and denied to meet with any third party investigator. This statement was denied by Fisher publically. Ray Fisher faced severe backlashes on his behaviors and thus his Justice League co star Jason Momoa has come into his support by posting on Instagram and demanding a fair investigation on the “shitty way we were treated”.

The actor’s full post read :-

“This shit has to stop and needs to be looked at @rayfisher and everyone else who experience what happened under the watch of @wbpictures needs proper investigation,”. I just think it’s fucked up that people released a Fake Frosty announcement without my permission to try to distract from Ray Fisher speaking up about the shitty way we were treated on Justice League reshoots. Serious stuff went down. It needs to be investigated and people need to be held accountable. #IStandWithRayFisher.”

When Fisher came out with the allegations, it was the same day when the reports surrounding Momoa playing ( voicing ) Frosty The Snowman in the upcoming movie. To which Momoa has denied now in his post. While Ray Fisher himself took on Twitter and told everyone that Warner Bros decided to release this Frosty statement so that they can distract the people from the ongoing investigation.

Fisher’s statement said :-

“If you still think Jason playing Frosty was EVER a real thing—please wake up! Hopefully now people see the depths that some are willing to go to hide the truth. To think they believed my brother would sellout the cast/crew of JL for a corncob pipe and a button nose…”

Fisher also accused the investigators of the matter and said that they are contacting the key witnesses and are only going after the ones who are supporting Warner Bros and their fake statements. Jon Berg has denied of all the claims that Fisher put against him while Jos Wheadon and Geoff Johns are yet to come out with a statement.

Due to the post by Jason Momoa, #IStandWithRayFisher has started trending on social media. Public has come into the support of Fisher and are demanding a fair investigation into the matter.
