Love and Monsters revolves around Joel, a young man forced to live underground after monsters take control of the Earth’s surface. Despite all the threats, Joel embarks on a dangerous journey through the monster-brimmed world to meet the love of his life, Aimee. Along the way, he meets various survivors and befriends Boy, a dog. His journey teaches him the meaning of resilience, love, and courage.
