Talaash serves as a psychological thriller revolving around a cop named Surjan Singh Shekhawat (Khan). He starts investigating a case of a mysterious car accident, which soon entangles him in a series of supernatural events in the city of Mumbai. He also encounters a prostitute, Rosie (played by Kareena Kapoor Khan). On the other hand, Rani Mukerji portrays the character of Roshni, Surjan’s wife.
Aamir Khan’s take on Surjan Singh Shekhawat was critically lauded. He literally carries the film on his shoulders. Alongside him, we see Kareena, Rani, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui giving amazing performances as well. The most standout features in the movie are its cinematography and tense and eerie atmosphere.
