Watch This Underrated Gem From Elizabeth Olsen On Netflix Now!

If you are looking for a good film to watch this weekend, here is a recommendation. ‘Kodachrome’ is a comedy drama directed by Mark raso and written by Jonathan Tropper. It is adapted from ‘For Kodachrome Fans, Road Ends at Photo Lab in Kansas’ by A.G. Sulzberger.

Kodachrome had its premiere in 2018 and was appreciated by critics and audiences. The film tells the story of Matt, a music executive with a great ear for talent. He is having troubles with his job and life. Matt’s father is struggling with cancer and he wants his son to take him to Kansas so that he can process the last rolls of his Kodachrome film. Matt’s father had been a photojournalist and had worked with acclaim all his life. But the days of Kodachrome are over and the photo lab in Kansas is closing soon. So they have to make a quick trip to the photo lab before it closes to process the film reel. The film starts with the note ‘Shot on 35 mm Kodak Camera’. It is nostalgic for cinephiles and the film goes on a nostalgic ride to the end. Even though it is somewhat predictable, the film offers some great emotional moments. The performances of the actors are beyond good.

Kodachrome stars actors like Ed Harris, Jason Sudeikism, Elizabeth Olsen, Bruce Greenwood, Wendy Crewson and Dennis Haysbert. The film is a hidden gem on Netflix and it should be discovered and explored. Watch This Underrated movie if you are a fan of comedy dramas.
