‘We Crashed’ On Apple TV+: Jared Leto, Anne Hathaway Chronicle The WeWork Saga

Apple TV+ has placed orders for a new limited series titled ‘We Crashed’ that will star Academy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winner Jared Leto and Academy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winner Anne Hathaway in the lead. ‘We Crashed’ on Apple will be based on the hit podcast ‘WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork’.

As per Apple, ‘WeCrashed’ will follow the greed-filled rise and inevitable fall of WeWork, one of the world’s most valuable startups, and the narcissists whose chaotic love made it all possible.

As part of his overall deal with Apple, the limited series will be co-written by Lee Eisenberg (Spirit Award-nominated ‘Little America’, ‘Good Boys’) who will also act as the showrunner and creator of the show alongside Drew Crevello (‘The Long Dark’). Eisenberg and Crevello will also serve as executive producers along with Charlie Gogolak. ‘We Crashed’ has been under development at Apple and will be produced by Apple Studios.

John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (‘This is Us’, ‘Crazy Stupid Love’) will direct and executive produce the limited series for Apple TV+. Other executive producers for ‘We Crashed’ include Natalie Sandy, Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto, who will do it along with Emma Ludbrook through their Paradox production company. Wondery will also executive produce.
