WeCrashed On Apple TV+ Captures The Rise & Fall Of WeWork

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for their upcoming limited series ‘WeCrashed’ starring Academy Award and SAG award winners Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway. Created by Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello, ‘WeCrashed’ will launch globally on Apple TV+ on March 18th with first three episodes. Remaining five episodes will follow every Friday on weekly basis.

‘WeCrashed’ is based on the popular Wondery podcast “WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork.” The trailer shows how a couple along with their friend took the idea of creating a co-working space to great heights but couldn’t sustain it. Insecurities, pride and other vices crept in that led to the downfall of an empire they built.

Inspired by actual events with a love story at the centre of it, ‘WeCrashed’ is all about “WeWrok” that grew from a single coworking space into a global brand worth $47 billion in under a decade. Then, in less than a year, its value plummeted. What happened?

Apart from Leto and Hathaway, ‘WeCrashed’ also stars Kyle Marvin, America Ferrera and O-T Fagbenle in prominent roles.

Directed and executive produced by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (“This is Us,” “Crazy, Stupid, Love”), Apple TV+’s ‘WeCrashed’ is created, written, executive produced and showrun by Emmy nominee Eisenberg and Crevello.

Charles Gogolak, Hathaway and Natalie Sandy are other executive producers for the highly anticipated limited series ‘WeCrashed’ alongside Leto and Emma Ludbrook who executive produce through their Paradox production company, and Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy and Aaron Hart who executive produce from Wondery.
