After waiting for so long, we finally have some details about Wednesday Season 2. Thanks to Netflix for releasing its latest You’re Not Ready – Next on Netflix 2025 promotional clip, which teases all the big projects arriving on the streaming service this year.
The promo clip opens with a young woman secretly trying to watch Stranger Things during a mundane work meeting. The signature “Tudum” sound not only catches the attention of her co-workers but also literally sucks her into the vast universe of Netflix originals.
The woman first appears as one of the contestants of Squid Game. She gives her all to save herself from the notorious Pink soldiers.
After overcoming Squid Game-style challenges, she enters an elevator. The lights flicker, the mirror cracks and her reflection transforms into the iconic Black Mirror smiley face—teasing the show’s upcoming seventh season.
As she steps out of the elevator, she is suddenly seen wearing a Nevermore Academy uniform, with Thing resting on her shoulder. Out of nowhere, she has a vision of the real Wednesday (played by Jenna Ortega) slowly approaching Tyler Galpin, aka Hyde (played by Hunter Doohan), in a psychiatric hospital. It seems like a scene taken straight from Wednesday Season 2.
Soon after, she is seen wearing a Cobra Kai-inspired costume, hinting at the upcoming Part Three of Season 6.
