The weekend is here, and so are our weekend binge recommendations. To all the bored souls out there who are lazy to venture out to cinemas, here is a big binge-watching list for you to devour at the comfort of your home.
The Boys:
Let’s start with a series that is the talk of the town currently for its unique take on Superheroes. The Boys looks at the wrong side of the caped crusaders and other humans with superhuman abilities. It pitches a bunch of ordinary guys against them. How will they win this battle? Or do they? Find out when you binge this eight-episode series that streams of Amazon Prime Video.
Contessa And Kantharam:
The Malayalam cinema is coming up with some cinematic gems in a wide variety of genres. Contessa and Kantharam are not among those but are a passable watch on digital space. They are streaming now on Amazon Prime Video.
Drushti And Rajdoot:
From Telugu, we have Rahul Ravindran’s Drusthi on Zee 5 original and Meghamsh Srihar’s debut Rajdoot on Amazon Prime Video. They are not the run of mill commercial staple stuff, but at the same time don’t do justice to its unique themes. However, that shouldn’t deter a binge-watching session. Would it, when you have the opportunity to forward the bits you don’t like?
Orange Is The New Black:
Netflix has a host of new entries from movies to series to cartoons, but none is as big as this. The concluding season of the widely acclaimed series Orange is The New Black has debuted online. If you are a fan, it must be already on the list, but if you aren’t do give it a try to see if the final lives up to the expectations or not.
The Son, Girls With Balls, and Boi:
As mentioned above, there is more in the Netflix domain. Here are three films that are now streaming on the Netflix platform. They are short and crisp with unique themes. If movies are all you want to binge on, give these flicks a try.
