Wes Anderson has confirmed that his much awaited Roald Dahl anthology ‘The Wonderful Story Of Henry Sugar’ will include three more stories. There will be three more short films based on the stories ‘Poison’, ‘The Swan’ and ‘The Ratcatcher’.
These stories are written by the famous British author Roald Dahl whose works are popular all over the world. His Matilda, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory are adapted many times to popular films.
Wes Anderson previously adapted a Roald Dahl story ‘The Fantastic Mr. Fox’ which was nominated for the Oscars for Best Animated Feature. The filmmaker shares a deep bond with Dahl and has given much dedication to this anthology of four films.
The Wonderful Story Of Henry Sugar will be released in theaters on the 20th of September and will premiere on Netflix on the 27th of September.
The cast includes actors like Rupert Friend, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Kingsley, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dev Patel and Richard Ayoade. The anthology will follow the typical Wes Anderson style and offer a beautiful symmetrical world of aesthetics to immerse in.
